Mum and Rick

Rick charmed Mum. He brought some photos for her to examine, and listened to her stories about the childhood she shared with his father (Uncle Dick) and her memories and remembered anecdotes about our grandfather, Ernest Ager. It was poignant for all of us, and especially for Rick, because several times they both were weeping as they remembered Uncle Dick. And that was just the preliminary chat to get acquainted before the real interview process began.

The interview and taping session was held at Robina's house. Rick and Mum sat at the dining room table, and talked about the photographs and memories for two hours. There is plenty of information for Rick to use to create his family history programme for all of us.
